Travel Grants

MultiPark offers travel grants to those from PhD student level and up to, but not including, the position of group leader and/or docent.

  • Maximum two travel grants per applicant per calendar year.
  • Maximum 18 000 SEK (including indirect costs) per applicant per calendar year.
Maximum award for digital events is 3 000 SEK (including indirect costs).

If awarded a travel grant, the recipient must agree on:

  1. Giving a local presentation arranged by MultiPark, presenting his or her research, within the year of receiving an award.

  2. Mandatory to attend all Frontiers in Neuroscience lectures for one year, starting from the date the travel grant was approved.

  3. Highlighting and promoting SRA MultiPark and Lund University in your presentation/poster. How to acknowledge MultiPark, and the MultiPark logo can be found here: About MultiPark.

Requirements

  1. Candidates must be employed at least half-time at LU or Region Skåne, and affiliated with one or more of the groups associated with MultiPark.

  2. In case of conference presentation, the results presented must reflect work performed within the premises (Lund University), and under the leadership of a MultiPark senior researcher. The latter implies that a MultiPark senior researcher should be the last authour, i.e., unless if the work is done in international collaboration, i.e., in those cases a shared last authour position is allowed.

  3. Scholarships must be used to cover travel costs associated with:
  • Participation in advanced scientific courses (on condition that there is no equivalent course available locally).
  • Presentation of results at international meetings (poster and/or oral presentation as presenting 1st author).
  • The scope and aims of the course/presentation must be within the MultiPark research program (see the MultiPark strategic plan, but the application form clarifies disease areas).
